Since getting back from LA, this month has been pretty busy but lots of fun. Just a quick update on my latest nerdy bits n pieces and what's going on round these parts!

BBC THE SOCIAL:

KATEE SACKHOFF AND CHLOË GRACE MORETZ

I'm still presenting for BBC The Social, my latest interview with Battlestar Galactica's Katee Sackhoff is available to watch now via The Social's online channels.

BBC The Social is an online platform from the BBC for 18-34 year olds, publishing fresh content daily and regularly enjoying up to 1 million plus views, with content being posted across the BBC's other channels such as bbc.co.ukBBC NewsEntertainmentBBC 3 and BBC Scotland

My previous interview with Jeff Goldblum reached the 1 million mark on Facebook, with Lou Ferrigno reaching 370k and Gemma Whelan (Game of Thrones) hitting the 250k mark. Upcoming interviews include the wonderful Chloë Grace Moretz (Kick-Ass) talking about her latest movie The Miseducation of Cameron Post.

I've also started writing for Fandom - it's still early days but my first piece about Bill & Ted 3 went live a few weeks ago and another piece about the Power Rangers sequel went up last week.

COLLIDER: RIP JON SCHNEPP

I spent July in LA working on my podcast REAL IMAGINED FUTURES (launching in a  few months) and was honoured to be back at Collider.

Unfortunately whilst I was there, my good friend Jon Schnepp, host of Collider Heroes, fell ill and sadly passed away. Jon was an incredible human being and insanely talented - he directed documentary The Death of "Superman Lives": What Happened? created with his fiancé and producer Holly Payne, and had also written Slayer: Repentless for Dark Horse, with many other projects in the pipeline, some of which will hopefully still see the light of day.

I'll miss Jon immensely, he was a good human being and I'll treasure his friendship and the memories forever.

Jon's fiancé Holly, set up a fundraiser for Jon's medical expenses, if you can, please donate here.
