A Song A Day: Honey Lung & Altar Eagles

As much as I try to write A Song A Day post every day, there are just days when I’m a little too busy to do so.

So having said that, here’s a little two-for-one for you since yesterday’s song was unable to go up. Enjoy!

Honey Lung – ‘Something’

London trio Honey Lung have just released their debut single ‘Something’ and it’s quite a treat. The guys are doing extremely well making waves amongst indie tastemakers such as Radio X‘s John Kennedy – I’m very excited to hear what they do next.

Altar Eagles – ‘Time Out’

Altar Eagles is an LA-based solo project by Toronto native Erik Alcock who is a member of the group and production team The New Royales. As a collective they have written and played on songs for Eminem, P!nk, Pitbull and Professor Green to name a few. However, on ‘Time Out’ there’s a gorgeous summer-y indie sound that combines shoegaze and 60s guitar pop – love this.
