Mikhail Galkin is the one-man quirky indie-pop machine behind Galkin. Describing himself as everything from slacker to dream pop, track ‘Out To Lunch’ definitely delivers.
There’s most certainly elements of psych-pop here and something very Beck about the feel of the music. Galkin says he’s influenced by “everything from Soviet cartoon soundtracks, Cuban guitarists, 90s east coast rap to Georgian church choirs and Randy Newman.”
The debut album Chagrin Seasons is out now and I highly recommend you check it out.
