I always tend to listen to Sufjan Stevens more around this time of year. There’s something about his vocals and the melodies he takes that make me feel like wrapping up in front of a fire. I guess it’s cheesy but I always imagine I’m doing this in some sort of cabin , lit by the warmth of a fire with the dark, cold night illuminated by the moon and snow outside.
However, what I’ll actually be doing this Christmas is playing a lot of Fallout 4 in my Batman PJs with the shitting rain and wind belting my window and the grey London streets outside. Not quite the same but I’ll also be listening to a lot of Sufjan, which’ll make the whole experience feel a lot cosier.
